Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Tracy — a Doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner (DNP, ARNP), mother, real estate investor, world traveler, and passionate home cook. Think of this space as my kitchen table, where we pull up a chair and talk about all the things that matter in life.
My Story
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Washington — one of the top graduate nursing programs in the country — and have spent my career as a geriatric nurse practitioner, specializing in the complex, nuanced care of older adults. Healthcare isn’t just my profession; it’s a lens through which I see the world. From preventive wellness to navigating the healthcare system, I love sharing what I know in plain, human language.
But there’s so much more to life than work. I’m a mom, and family is everything to me. I’m a real estate investor building long-term financial security one property at a time. I love to travel — near and far — soaking in new cultures, cuisines, and perspectives. I’ve become genuinely fascinated by AI and how it’s reshaping the way we work and live. And above all, I cook. Most evenings you’ll find me in my kitchen, making real food for the people I love.
What You’ll Find Here
Tracy’s Kitchen is a lifestyle blog built around real life — mine and yours. I write about family and the beautiful chaos of raising kids, travel adventures and lessons learned on the road, home projects that I’m proud of (and some I’m still figuring out), real estate investing for regular people, the latest in healthcare and wellness I think you should know about, how AI is showing up in everyday life, and of course, recipes and the joy of cooking at home.
I’m not here to be perfect. I’m here to be real. So pull up a chair, pour yourself something warm, and let’s talk.
